Hi there! Just wanted to share with you guys The Levamentum Project, an organization run by my buddy Alex. Its main goal is to help trans* youth with their transitions. Part of how it achieves this is through its online store which sells trans* essentials at a VERY low cost (the lowest ive ever seen for 90% of this stuff). All revenue goes back to the trans* community.
Not only does TLP sell FTM supplies, but they will also be adding MTF supplies to their shop very soon. And anything they don’t already have, you can suggest to them and they will try to make it available in the shop. Here is a quick catalog of some of the things they carry
Simple Soft Pack (aka Mr Limpy)
XS (3.5 in) $7 {Add $0.50 for every size up}
Bella Silicone Packer
S (4in) $37
L (6in) $42

They also have a full line of hard packers(starting at $16) in various sizes and colors. Most of their items come in multiple skin tones.
They will soon be adding underworks binders to their store

STP
I have tried out a few STP’s during this year, like the medicine spoon, shee-wee and peecock…BUT THIS STP works the best!
- Small and flexible.
- Fits in flat in pocket with no show.
- Easy to make and basically free.
- Good flow no back up.
- Easy to clean.
I did not make the template, this is the website where you can print out the template
…the color bottle i picked kinda makes mine look like glass .__. glass in my pocket…
ALSO this can be used for anyone LIKE GIRLS WHO LIKE TO CAMP OUT, LONG BOAT RIDES OR NASTY PORTA POTTY :D
Now lay your O ring aside for a moment.
Take your boxers and turn them inside out. By cutting a cross in them, make a small hole in the inner flap, about 2/3 the size of your O ring, about 6cm from the waistband, as in image 1. Your hole will seem too small, but this is fine. the fabric will stretch so you need it to be too small to start with.
Now take your O ring and push it through the hole, as in image 2. Let the hole stretch around it and come to rest on the underside of it. pull all of the elastic through to the front.
Pin the elastic at 10:00 and 2:00 to the waistband, also as in image 2. It will be slightly too short and cause the fabric to ruffle slightly but you need that - when you wear them the weight of your packer will pull it down and its the tension that provides the support to hold everything in place a better than a normal pair would.
Stitch it in place at the top. Leave the rest lose (image 3).
Now turn to the inside of the flap. Stitch around the lose fabric on the outside of the ring, stitching it to the inner flap as you go, keeping as close as possible to the ring itself.. Either cut off the triangle tabs left over from the cross or tuck them in, as you find easiest.
Then go round the lose fabric again close to the edge of it, so that it lays flat on the inside. (Image 4).
Now take the vertical length of the T elastic and run it from the outside of the inner flap to the inside. Pull the end right up to the O ring and stitch it to it. Then stitch down the length of it on the inside, stitching it to the flap. Go down both sides. (Image 5).
Then turn everything back the right way out, and you’re done.
I hope that’s easy enough to follow. Its quite a fiddly task and it does take practice but the end result is good when you get the hang of it. I’ll be pleased to answer any questions or take any suggestions you may have.
I will upload and expansion into how to make the pack and play next weekend.
Good luck and have fun!
Please keep in mind that I am not a gender therapist. My youtube videos, answers, and writings are only based off of my own experience as a transgender FTM individual. Also, there are some things included that were publishd by other LGBTQ people. If you have anything to add to this advice page please let me know! I want to extend this to help more LGBTQ people. This list will be added to and updated as much as possible. If there’s a topic that you think I should include please let me know and I will add it. This is for YOU! Thank you.
